[Weather] Sunday Daytime Temperature Rises, Becoming Mild
On the afternoon of the 19th, when the cold snap eased and the weather was warm, citizens were riding bicycles at Banpo Hangang Park in Seoul.
On Sunday the 21st, the whole country will be mostly clear, with clouds increasing in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 0 and 11 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 12 and 23 degrees Celsius.
Daytime temperatures will rise 2 to 4 degrees compared to the previous day, with the central regions around 15 degrees and the southern regions around 20 degrees, making it mild.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Sejong, Chungbuk, and Chungnam, while other regions will have 'moderate' levels.
Strong wind warnings are in effect for the mountainous areas of Gangwon and the Gangwon East Coast, where winds will blow very strongly until the afternoon.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore.
Offshore wave heights are expected to be high, with 1 to 4 meters in the East Sea, 1 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1 to 3 meters in the South Sea.
