[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan Fire Station (Chief Park Won-guk) is operating a fire prevention consulting support center to strengthen preemptive activities at construction sites and create a fire-safe and secure fire prevention environment.
According to Muan Fire Station on the 19th, the center operates by distributing notices to large construction sites with a total area of over 3,000㎡ and specific fire safety targets (Grade 1 and Grade 2), guiding them to report welding and cutting work two days in advance for fire prevention consulting support.
The main operations include distributing safety manuals for welding and cutting, mandatory placement of fire watchers, guidance on temporary fire facilities (manual distribution), hazardous materials safety management checks, and safety education for construction personnel, along with instructions on actions to take in case of fire.
