View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Na Kyung-won, a preliminary candidate from the People Power Party running in the Seoul mayoral by-election, visited a senior welfare center located in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul on the 18th and announced plans to reduce property taxes.
Specifically, Candidate Na stated, "We will reduce property taxes by 10% for seniors aged 60 to 65, by 30% for those aged 65 to 70, and by 50% for seniors over 70."
She also pledged to establish 'Hyodeurim Centers,' complex senior welfare facilities, at the neighborhood level. She said, "These coexistence-type complex senior welfare facilities will allow residents to enjoy various hobbies and receive systematic dementia and health care within a 10-minute distance from home," adding, "We plan to encourage the placement of Hyodeurim Centers in areas with a concentration of more than 300 households."

Candidate Na said, "We will consider prioritizing the hiring of experienced and seasoned seniors at private babysitting companies," and added, "We will discover various job opportunities for seniors who have retired from professional careers."
