[Photo] Minister Lee Jae-gap Visits Workplaces Receiving Employment Retention Support Funds in the Aviation Industry
On the 18th, Lee Jae-gap, Minister of Employment and Labor, held an on-site meeting with workplaces receiving employment retention support funds in the aviation industry at Jeju Air's Seoul office in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The meeting was organized to share Jeju Air's experience of maintaining employment through joint efforts between labor and management despite the sharp decline in air travel demand following the COVID-19 pandemic, and to listen to any difficulties faced. Since last year, Jeju Air has maintained employment by having labor and management agree on measures such as partial salary reductions for executives and downsizing welfare programs, while receiving government employment retention support funds. / Reporter Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@
