According to Muan County on the 18th, four family members of a second-tier financial institution employee in Haeje-myeon, who tested positive the previous day, were additionally confirmed positive on the same day. The confirmed individuals are the employee's wife, mother-in-law, and two children.
With these four additional cases, a total of 12 people in the Muan area have been infected since the Shin-an church cluster began on the 14th, and 9 people were infected in Shin-an, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 21.

A Muan County official stated, "An epidemiological investigation is underway to determine the exact transmission route," and urged, "Residents should refrain from going out, follow quarantine guidelines, and residents of the Haeje area are requested to participate in the full COVID-19 testing."
