View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] On Thursday the 18th, nationwide severe cold will continue, with snow or rain expected mainly in the western coast of Chungnam, Jeolla region, and Jeju until the morning.
Expected snowfall amounts are 5?15 cm in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; 3?8 cm in the western Jeolla region; and 1?5 cm along the western coast of Chungnam, eastern Jeolla (excluding the southern coast of eastern Jeonnam), and Jeju Island (excluding mountainous areas).
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -13 and -2 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between -1 and 4 degrees Celsius.
Visibility will be reduced in areas with snowfall, and roads may be slippery, so special caution is required for traffic safety.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.
Sea waves will be 1?2.5 m in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5?4 m in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5?4 m in the South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the open seas are expected to be 1.5?5 m in the East Sea, 1.5?5 m in the West Sea, and 1.5?5 m in the South Sea.
