[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seungro Lee, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, joined the "Thank You, Essential Workers" campaign on the 16th to support essential workers.
The "Thank You, Essential Workers" campaign is a relay campaign to encourage and support workers in healthcare, social welfare, care services, environmental sanitation, delivery services, and other fields who risk COVID-19 infection to engage in face-to-face labor.
Through the campaign, Mayor Seungro Lee of Seongbuk-gu stated, "I sincerely thank all essential workers who silently strive on the front lines to protect the safety and daily lives of our residents despite the risk of COVID-19 infection. Seongbuk-gu will also do its best to discover and promote policies for workers in the region."

Mayor Seungro Lee, who joined the campaign upon the nomination of Mayor Donggyun Yoo of Mapo-gu, recommended Changwoo Lee, Mayor of Dongjak-gu, Hyun-song Noh, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, and Geonwang Lee, CEO of Seongbuk Cultural Foundation, as the next challengers to continue the campaign.
