Shinhan Bank Signs Sponsorship Agreement with Nexon for 'KartRider League Season 1'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Bank announced on the 17th that it has signed a title sponsorship agreement with Nexon for the online racing game KartRider's eSports tournament, the '2021 KartRider League Season 1.'
The official name for this season is '2021 Shinhan Bank Hey Young KartRider League Season 1.' Considering that the main players of KartRider are from the MZ generation, the name includes Hey Young, a financial brand offering products and services specialized for customers in their 20s.
During the tournament, Shinhan Bank plans to promote the Hey Young brand through Nexon's live broadcasts, race track billboards, league online content, and the website.
Started in 2005, the KartRider League is the longest-running domestic game eSports league. The finals of the '2020 KartRider League Season 2,' held last November, recorded a total viewership of approximately 600,000, maintaining steady popularity.
