Sempio Launches Broths for Mille-Feuille Nabe, Budae Jjigae, and Sagol Gomtang with Soup Cooking Know-How
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Sempio announced on the 9th that it will launch broth products that completely relieve the burden of soup dishes. The products introduced this time include a total of four types: ‘Rich Beef Bone Broth for Gomtang’, ‘Spicy Rich Budae Jjigae Broth’, and two types of ‘Mille-Feuille Nabe Broth’.
The ‘Rich Beef Bone Broth for Gomtang’ applies the traditional method of boiling multiple times in a cauldron until the broth becomes milky white. Simply add the broth and water in a 1:1 ratio and boil to enjoy as gomtang. It is also good for use in rice cake dumpling soup and beef bone knife-cut noodle soup. The capacity is 400g, which is a generous amount for a family of three.
The ‘Spicy Rich Budae Jjigae Broth’ adds Sempio’s secret seasoning to the rich beef bone broth. Just prepare your desired ingredients such as meat, ham, and sausage to make budae jjigae that rivals those from specialty restaurants.
The ‘Mille-Feuille Nabe Broth’ comes in two types: Katsuobushi broth and Spicy Broth. The ‘Katsuobushi Mille-Feuille Nabe Broth’ uses katsuobushi from Indonesia and Thailand instead of Japanese katsuobushi, allowing you to enjoy a mild broth with peace of mind. The ‘Spicy Mille-Feuille Nabe Broth’ is refreshingly spicy with Cheongyang chili peppers. It pairs well not only with mille-feuille nabe and shabu-shabu but also with fish cake soup and mushroom knife-cut noodle soup.
