Muan-gun O Seung-woo Art Museum Operates Contactless Experience Event
Application Open for 'Making Mood Lamps Following the Path of Light'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The Osungwoo Art Museum in Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 9th that it will continue to operate the non-face-to-face experience event held last year this year as well.
The museum's online experience event is conducted in a way that children watch online lectures at home and participate in the program, with a total of about 5,200 participants last year.
The county selected the most popular program from last year's operation, "Making a Mood Lamp Following the Path of Light," as the February program. This program is a class where participants learn about the properties of light and create their own unique mood lamp, and the completed work can also be used as indoor decoration.
Applications for the program will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 300 people starting at 2 p.m. on the 9th through the Muan-gun Osungwoo Art Museum website, and the online video will be posted on YouTube (search for Muan-gun Osungwoo Art Museum). The experience kit is provided free of charge and can be picked up in person via a drive-thru method.
In addition to the online experience event, the museum is also operating the media art special exhibition "Shadow with the Tongue of Light," and last year's exhibition can be viewed through YouTube.
A county official said, "This year, we will operate the online program more professionally and systematically to provide a joyful experience for children who find it difficult to go out due to COVID-19."
