[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dobong-gu (Mayor Lee Dong-jin) will hold an online agenda briefing session for Cooperative Governance Dobong for about one hour starting at 3 PM on the 10th.
This briefing session, prepared to enhance understanding of cooperative governance agendas and expand participation in the forum as part of the community innovation plan project, will be conducted live online via the YouTube channel ‘Cooperative Governance Dobong’.
Anyone interested in the 2021 Cooperative Governance Forum agenda in the local community can participate.
Those who wish to participate can pre-register by phone, and participation is also possible on the day through the ‘Cooperative Governance Dobong’ YouTube channel.
During the Cooperative Governance Dobong agenda briefing, the 2021 Cooperative Governance Forum process and participation methods will be introduced, providing an opportunity to review the Cooperative Governance Dobong agenda.
A Q&A session with participants will also be held.
Meanwhile, under the vision of ‘A Greater Cooperative Governance Dobong Created Together,’ Dobong-gu has been leading the establishment and reflection of sustainable policies through citizen participation and public-private cooperation since the consultation and approval of the 2020 community innovation plan implementation plan. In August 2021, Dobong-gu established the community innovation plan and is currently promoting 10 major selected projects.
Mayor Lee Dong-jin of Dobong-gu stated, “We aim to actively revitalize the cooperative public discourse platform to discover community-based agendas and expand opportunities for deliberation and discussion,” adding, “Through these processes, I hope our district’s public-private cooperative governance capabilities will grow and the effectiveness of solving local community issues will increase.”
