'Chingu' and 'White Tower' Actress Kim Bo-kyung Passes Away After 11 Years Battling Cancer at Age 44

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Actress Kim Bo-kyung passed away after battling cancer. She was 44 years old.
On the 5th, Hankook Ilbo reported, "Kim Bo-kyung, who had been fighting cancer for the past 11 years, passed away on the 2nd at the age of 44."
Born in Busan, Kim Bo-kyung debuted at the age of 18 in 1995 alongside Yang Dong-geun in the KBS drama 'New Generation Report: Adults Don't Know.'
Afterwards, she worked as a commercial model and appeared on the big screen through the movie 'Friend.' In the film, Kim Bo-kyung gained popularity for her performance singing 'After the Play Ends.'
Kim Bo-kyung later appeared in dramas such as 'School 4,' 'White Tower,' and 'Kkakdugi,' as well as films like 'Virgin Snow' and 'Gidam.'
Even while battling illness in 2012, she showed her passion for acting by appearing in the KBS2 Drama Special 'Amore Mio' and MBC's 'I Think I Loved You.'
