Seongbuk-gu, Reduced Operating Hours of COVID-19 Screening Clinics During Lunar New Year Holiday
February 11-14, 4 days from 9 AM to 3 PM operation... Temporary Screening Clinics (Seongbuk-gu Office Baram Madang, Seoul Civil Defense Training Center) operate from 10 AM to 3 PM during the holiday period
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) will shorten the operating hours of the COVID-19 screening clinics set up at the public health center during the Lunar New Year holiday period (February 11 to 14).
A district official explained that this decision was made in line with the adjustment of operating hours at screening clinics in neighboring autonomous districts.
Residents who wish to get tested for COVID-19 at the screening clinic set up in front of the Seongbuk-gu public health center during the Lunar New Year holiday should visit between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The existing operating hours of the screening clinic are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and public holidays.
In addition, temporary screening clinics are installed and operated at Seongbuk-gu Office Baram Madang (Bomun-ro 168) and Seoul Civil Defense Education Center (Hwarang-ro 376).
During the Lunar New Year holiday period, the two temporary screening clinics will operate according to the existing weekend and public holiday hours, conducting tests from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
As of the 2nd, Seongbuk-gu has conducted approximately 55,000 COVID-19 tests through the screening clinic installed at the public health center.
The testing method is nasopharyngeal swab PCR, and any general citizen who wishes to be tested can receive the test.
If you have been separately notified due to close contact, you must get tested at the public health center. On the other hand, if you want an anonymous test regardless of epidemiological relevance, you can go to the temporary screening clinics installed at Seongbuk-gu Office Baram Madang (Bomun-ro 168) or Seoul Civil Defense Education Center (Hwarang-ro 376).
Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, stated, “It is still difficult to conclude that there is a definite downward trend in COVID-19,” and added, “The district is prioritizing COVID-19 prevention work and concentrating all its capabilities.”
