JLK Obtains Patent Rights for Artificial Intelligence Ischemic Stroke Diagnosis System
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] JLKE announced on the 3rd that it has acquired a patent for the artificial intelligence-based 'PWI-DWI Mismatch Lesion Extraction and Integrated Evaluation Method and System.'
This patent relates to an AI-based lesion area quantification and diagnosis system utilizing perfusion weighted imaging (PWI) and diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) information. It involves a method and system that use PWI and DWI imaging data to predict and calculate the volume of hyperacute ischemic stroke lesion areas and the expected damage range, and to perform diagnosis regarding the necessity of treatment accordingly.
