Kia sells 44,965 units in the US in January, up 11.4% YoY
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Kia Motors America (KMA) announced on the 3rd that it sold 44,965 units in the United States in January. This represents an 11.4% increase compared to the same month last year.
According to KMA, the sales growth was driven by sport utility vehicles (SUVs) such as Telluride, Niro, and Seltos, which increased by 18.3% year-over-year. These SUVs accounted for 66.7% of Kia's total sales in January.
