Mayor Kang Young-seok of Sangju Joins '#Chakji Challenge'... Property Tax Reduction Benefits for 'Good Landlords'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Sangju City, Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 1st that Mayor Kang Young-seok participated in the '#Chakji (Good Rent Support Policy) Challenge' through SNS (Social Networking Service) on the 29th.
The 'Chakji Challenge' is an abbreviation of the Good Rent Support Policy, meaning the establishment (Chakji) and spread (Challenge) of the good rent movement. It carries the message of overcoming the economic crisis by spreading the good rent movement starting from basic local governments.
The government plans to expand tax credits up to 70% of the reduced amount (up to 50% if comprehensive income tax exceeds 100 million KRW) from this year's taxable income for 'good landlords' who participate in the good rent movement and reduce rent. Sangju City is reviewing tax support measures such as property tax reductions separately from the government's tax credit.
