"First in Fintech Industry"... Naver Financial Launches Credit Management Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Naver Financial announced on the 1st that it has launched the 'Naver Pay Credit Management' service in collaboration with NICE Information Service, a leading domestic credit information company, marking the first such partnership in the fintech industry.
Through this service, users can check their personal credit information recorded by multiple financial institutions, including credit scores, loans, and delinquencies, all at once. In particular, the 'Credit Analysis Report' allows users to view detailed reasons explaining how their credit score was calculated across four categories: transaction period, credit type, debt, and repayment history.
Additionally, the 'Credit Comparison Report' enables users to regularly compare their credit score, card usage amount, and loan usage amount with the average of peers in similar age groups. Non-financial information submitted through Naver Pay Credit Management from four institutions?National Tax Service, National Pension Service, National Health Insurance, and telecommunications companies?is immediately reflected in the NICE credit score.
Naver Financial emphasized that Naver Pay Credit Management is the only service offering such credit analysis and comparison reports along with real-time credit score improvement capabilities.
Kim Junwoo, Service Manager at Naver Financial who planned Naver Pay Credit Management, stated, "Since credit grades were abolished and only credit scores are now used starting this year, users are in a better position to systematically manage their credit scores. Especially thin-file users such as students and housewives, who previously faced restrictions in obtaining loans and credit cards due to insufficient financial history, will be able to access financial services under better conditions by managing their credit scores well."
