KT Launches O2O Service 'Mercedes Me Care' with Benz Korea
The World's First Domestic Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT is collaborating with Mercedes-Benz Korea to launch an Online to Offline (O2O) service for the 'Mercedes me Care' application (app).
On the 1st, KT announced that it has built an O2O (Online to Offline) platform for the Mercedes me Care app, which is officially launching in Korea as the first service worldwide for Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes me Care is a new mobile membership program offering various vehicle-related and lifestyle services. KT and Mercedes-Benz Korea, in partnership with related companies, provide services such as ▲car wash reservations ▲chauffeur call ▲daily driver reservations ▲golf reservations ▲restaurant reservations.
Until now, vehicle-related O2O services generally required customers to contact and book directly with individual companies, causing inconvenience. However, Mercedes me Care plans to enhance customer convenience by integrating various services into a single reservation platform. For example, when customer A plans a weekend golf trip, they can make golf course reservations and call a daily driver for transportation all at once through the app.
Additionally, the newly offered O2O services within Mercedes me Care can be downloaded from the Google Android Play Store and Apple iOS App Store, making them available not only to Mercedes-Benz customers but to anyone. By analyzing user-provided profile data and app usage history, personalized services based on individual interests can be offered.
