Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly, "Attention Must Be Paid to the Historical Value of Educational Records"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] On the 28th, Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council Education Committee member Hwang Jae-eun held a 'Discussion Forum for the Enactment of the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education Records Management Ordinance.'
In this forum, attention was focused on the uniqueness and cultural and historical value of educational records, which, unlike general records, fully contain the history of schools that greatly influence the development process of education and the lives of the people.
Additionally, experts, related officials, and relevant organizations participated in a discussion on sustainable records management policies and institutional foundation establishment plans through the establishment of a records center.
The forum began with a presentation by Council member Hwang Jae-eun, who plans to propose the ordinance, titled 'Explanation of the Background for the Ordinance Proposal and Future Directions.'
In the subsequent designated discussion, professors, records researchers, and archivists participated in a discussion and Q&A session.
Council member Hwang Jae-eun said, "I hope that this ordinance enactment will raise the interest of the residents in educational records and that Gyeongnam education will take a step forward through the establishment of a customized educational records management system."
