Jindo-gun Focuses on Intensive Management of Fine Dust in Winter and Spring Seasons
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jindo County conducted a campaign to reduce fine dust in major urban areas.
According to Jindo County on the 28th, the campaign was organized to encourage residents' participation by promoting actions such as not driving grade 5 vehicles, prohibiting illegal burning, and reducing waste discharge.
The county plans to actively promote residents' participation in reducing fine dust through various online and offline publicity strategies until March.
The fine dust seasonal management system is implemented to intensively reduce and manage fine dust during the winter and spring seasons, which have a high frequency of high-concentration fine dust occurrences.

An official from Jindo County's Environment and Forestry Department said, "The campaign activities following the implementation of the fine dust seasonal management system were conducted to increase residents' participation in reducing fine dust in daily life," adding, "We need the active participation of residents with the mindset that we are the fine dust problem solvers."
