Andong City, Coffee and Ginger Processing Factory 'Kingdom Plant Cooperative' Investment MOU
Investment of 5.3 Billion KRW in 833㎡ in Dongbu-dong
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Andong City, Gyeongbuk Province announced on the afternoon of the 26th that it will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kingdom Plant Cooperative (CEO Kim Han-dong) at City Hall.
Kingdom Plant Cooperative, a social enterprise and HACCP-certified company, plans to invest 5.3 billion KRW to build a coffee and ginger processing manufacturing plant on an 833㎡ (approximately 252 pyeong) site in 202, Dongbu-dong.
Through this investment, it is expected to contribute to job creation and revitalization of the local economy by hiring about 23 new employees.
Andong City plans to provide various administrative and financial support in accordance with the 'Andong City Enterprise and Investment Attraction Promotion Ordinance' to ensure the smooth progress of the project and the successful operation of the investing company.

An official from Andong City stated, "We expect this MOU signing to inject vitality into the local economy, which has been struggling due to COVID-19, and we will actively support the successful promotion of the investment."
