Sangju City Reopens Traditional 5-Day Market... Focused Promotion on 'Wearing Masks'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Sangju City announced that, as COVID-19 continues to spread and social distancing measures have been extended until the end of January, it will conduct a mask-wearing promotion campaign at the Jungang Market 5-day Market at 1 PM on the 22nd.
This campaign aims to raise awareness among merchants and citizens about COVID-19 and encourage joint efforts to prevent its spread, coinciding with the reopening of the 5-day Market, which had been closed until now.
About 20 employees from the Safety Disaster Division, Economic Enterprise Division, and General Affairs Division, including Mayor Kang Young-seok of Sangju City, will participate in the campaign. They will promote the message that "Wearing a mask is the best vaccine against COVID-19" and distribute 2,000 KF-94 masks to market merchants and citizens.
