Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to Hire 530 New Educational Public Officials
Hiring of Permanent Contract Positions Including Chefs, Kitchen Assistants, Educational Practitioners, and Care Specialists
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education will newly hire 530 educational public service workers, including cooks and care specialists.
On the 20th, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will accept applications for 530 educational public service positions working at various schools and educational institutions as of March 1st, through its online recruitment system from the 27th to the 29th.
The recruitment scale includes ▲45 cooks and 292 kitchen assistants ▲59 educational administrative assistants (integrated) ▲48 care specialists (full-time and part-time).
Applicants must directly access the online recruitment system and submit their applications to the educational support office where they wish to work. The hiring process consists of a first round of document screening and a second round of interviews. After passing, candidates will undergo three days of training before employment and a three-month probation period after hiring.
Newly hired educational public service workers are permanent contract employees with a guaranteed retirement age of 60. During their employment, according to the personnel operation plan and employment rules for educational public service workers of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, employees can transfer between educational support offices or within the same office to a desired workplace.
