[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Andong City announced on the 20th that it has selected the Pungsan-eup Maae District (around 20, Maae-ri, Pungsan-eup, 439 parcels, 436,364㎡) as the target area for the 2021 Cadastral Resurvey Project to efficiently manage land and protect citizens' property rights.
The Cadastral Resurvey Project is a national project that corrects incorrect cadastral information that does not match the actual status of the land and converts and builds the paper cadastral maps created by Japan over 100 years ago into advanced digital cadastral maps.
Before proceeding with the project, the city established an implementation plan regarding the cadastral resurvey project, including ▲current status of the project area ▲estimated project cost ▲survey implementation plan, and posted it on bulletin boards and the website for public inspection and announcement so that anyone can view it.

An official from Andong City said, "The cadastral resurvey project not only resolves social conflicts caused by boundary disputes between neighbors but also greatly increases the utilization value of the land," and added, "We ask for the active interest and cooperation of landowners in the cadastral resurvey project, which will be implemented until 2030."
