NC's K-pop Platform 'Universe' Surpasses 3 Million Pre-Registrations
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] NCSoft announced on the 18th that the pre-registration for the K-pop entertainment platform 'Universe' has surpassed 3 million users.
This comes just one week after surpassing 2 million pre-registrations on the 11th. Fans from 188 countries worldwide, including Korea, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and Indonesia, participated in the Universe pre-registration. Among the pre-registrants, 73% are overseas users.
Universe is an all-in-one platform that allows fandom activities both online and offline to be enjoyed on mobile devices, and it is scheduled for a global market launch early this year.
NCSoft will release IZ*ONE's music as the first content on Universe. IZ*ONE collaborated with Universe to produce Universe Music's "D-D-Dance." NCSoft will reveal concept photos of "D-D-Dance" at 6 PM today through Universe's official social network service (SNS). The music track is planned to be released on the 26th, and the music video on the 28th.
The Universe Music series will feature all artists on Universe, starting with IZ*ONE. Music tracks and music videos will be released sequentially every month.
