View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] On the 16th at around 22:00 (estimated), the Changwon Maritime Police Station in Gyeongnam reported that vessel A (1.13t, coastal composite, 1 crew member), which departed from Daehang Port in Gadeokdo-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan, was found capsized in nearby waters, and a search for the missing person is underway.
According to the Maritime Police, vessel A departed from Daehang Port around 22:00 on the 16th to go fishing but did not make contact even after its expected return time.
At around 00:45 on the 17th, vessel A was located and searched, but the captain was not found, prompting a maritime search.
The Maritime Police have deployed two patrol vessels, two coastal rescue boats, two civilian rescue ships, and one naval vessel to search the nearby waters and coastline.
