SKB Also Produces In-House... Local Community Info Show 'Uri Dongnae Sudabang' Premieres Tomorrow
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Cho] SK Broadband announced on the 15th that it will produce and broadcast its own program "Our Neighborhood Chat Room," which cheerfully captures various local lifestyle information.
"Our Neighborhood Chat Room" was planned with the purpose of communicating and coexisting with local communities that have been weakened and exhausted due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). It features fun and comfortable conversations about delicious local stories, heartwarming stories, and money-making stories as if chatting casually.
The main MCs selected are comedian Park Jun-hyung, known for his cheerful wit, and announcer Oh Jung-yeon. In addition, unique broadcasters such as singer Song Dae-gwan, comedians Kwon Hyuk-soo and Oh Na-mi, and Kazakhstani international student Onege will appear as members of the "Chat Room."
The program consists of three segments. Kwon Hyuk-soo and Onege are in charge of the "Highly Personal Taste Restaurant" segment, where they hold a tournament-style restaurant competition each episode. They visit two local restaurants operated by small business owners every week to provide promotional opportunities and help revitalize the local commercial district. Song Dae-gwan and Oh Na-mi deliver warm messages by visiting elderly people on behalf of viewers who cannot often visit their hometowns through the "Heart Sharing Messenger" segment. Lastly, the "Neighborhood Millionaire Living Together" segment introduces neighbors who have succeeded with their own differentiated startup ideas or through returning to farming and rural life. The first episode features the story of a 35-year-old young entrepreneur who achieved annual sales of 2 billion KRW by processing and selling balloon flower roots.
