Korea Research Foundation Appoints New Director of Data Information Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] The National Research Foundation of Korea appointed Hyunseok Jeong, Executive Vice President in charge of the Information Strategy Department (BT) for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Asia-Pacific Market Cluster, as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Data Information Center on the 13th.
The foundation expanded its existing Knowledge Information Office into a Data Information Center centered on the CIO, and to ensure efficient policy implementation, information technology strategy establishment, and information system management and operation, it selected a Data Information Center Director as an open civilian position.

Director Jeong will oversee the operation of information and systems necessary for the projects promoted by the foundation and will be responsible for supporting academic research policy formulation utilizing various research databases held by the foundation for two years.
