Strengthening the 'Life Management Platform'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] BankSalad announced on the 12th that it has changed its existing company name 'Rainist' to the service name BankSalad, strengthening its service scope from finance to life management.
As a company name, BankSalad previously used 'Bank' to mean a financial institution, but now it is expanded to mean a 'data platform' where data is safely transmitted. BankSalad is recognized as a platform where healthy data for individuals is gathered, integrating the data customers want to provide highly personalized services reflecting individual preferences, enabling stable asset management and integrated management of various aspects of life.
Founded in 2012, after launching web services in 2014, BankSalad debuted in 2017 as a data-based personal asset management platform. It has evolved into a service that gathers and manages scattered financial assets such as bank, card, insurance, and securities in one app and provides customized solutions. As of January, it has surpassed 8.4 million downloads and 405 trillion KRW in linked managed assets, and with BankSalad unified as the representative company name from the service name, it plans to expand and strengthen the personal management area from finance to life.

Along with the company name change, BankSalad also unveiled a new corporate identity (CI) and slogan. The new slogan is 'Taste the Data.' BankSalad also relocated its headquarters to the Yeouido Park One Tower. Kim Tae-hoon, CEO of BankSalad, said, "BankSalad plans to provide useful hyper-personalized services to individuals by utilizing customers' data for their benefit through services that break customers' inconveniences." He added, "Through innovative services, individuals will feel the value of data including MyData and experience various benefits, allowing them to enjoy joy in their daily lives."
