40,000 Recipients Scheduled for Tomorrow... Plan to Complete by 15th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced today (the 11th) that it has begun disbursing the '3rd Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund' for special-type workers (teuksoohyeong geunro jongsaja, teukgo), freelancers, and others.
On this day, among the recipients of the existing 1st and 2nd Emergency Employment Stability Support Funds, 146,955 people whose eligibility was confirmed from applications submitted online over the two days of the 6th and 7th were each paid 500,000 won.
However, those enrolled in employment insurance as of December 24 last year, as well as public officials and teachers, were excluded.
Tomorrow (the 12th), 40,000 people who applied between the 8th and 10th will receive the support fund, and payments will be made sequentially, with plans to complete payments to eligible recipients among previous beneficiaries by the 15th.
