On the 11th, Samsung Electronics released teaser images for the Galaxy S21 Unpacked event scheduled for the 15th, along with photos showing BTS from behind, via social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram.
At this year's Unpacked event, videos featuring BTS directly introducing new products like the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Buds Pro are expected to be revealed. Samsung Electronics explained, "We have decided to continue collaborating with BTS this year as well, and considering the COVID-19 situation, the focus will be on digital content."
The BTS Edition will not be included in the Galaxy S21 series. The main color of the Galaxy S21 is violet, which is similar to the purple symbolizing BTS, making it highly likely that marketing related to BTS will be conducted. BTS demonstrated the Galaxy Z Fold2 themselves at the Unpacked events in August and September last year.
Samsung Electronics also released another Unpacked teaser video hinting at the unveiling of the 'SmartTag.' Violet-colored dots gather and transform into a mark indicating 'location.' The SmartTag is an accessory that can track location using Bluetooth, GPS, and ultra-wideband technology.
It can be attached to products without communication connectivity or carried by children or pets without smartphones, allowing location tracking regardless of network connection status. Following the release of the 'SmartThings Find' app at the end of last year, which enables location tracking of smartphones and wireless earphones, Samsung is now introducing accessories applying the same technology.

Samsung Electronics will hold 'Galaxy Unpacked 2021' at 12:00 AM Korean time on the 15th, and 10:00 AM Eastern Time on the 14th in the United States. The Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Buds Pro will be unveiled.
