According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 9th, the nationwide morning low temperatures on the 10th will range from -22 to -5 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperatures will range from -4 to 4 degrees Celsius. Morning temperatures will rise by 2 to 4 degrees compared to the previous day, but cold wave warnings will remain in most areas.
The central region, Gyeongbuk, some inland areas of Jeolla, and central inland areas of Gyeongnam will drop below -15 degrees Celsius, and other regions are expected to be around -10 degrees Celsius. Seoul's low to high temperatures will be between -12 and -2 degrees Celsius. Busan is expected to be between -7 and 4 degrees Celsius, Daegu between -10 and 1 degrees Celsius, Daejeon between -14 and -1 degrees Celsius, Gwangju between -8 and 1 degrees Celsius, and Jeju between 2 and 5 degrees Celsius.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts that this cold spell will continue until the 12th.
Many areas will also experience snowfall. Until this day, the western coast of Jeonnam and the mountainous areas of Jeju Island will see heavy snowfall accumulating between 3 and 8 cm, and the Jeju coast, western coast of Jeonbuk, western coast of Chungnam, and the five western islands will see 1 to 5 cm of snow. Ulleungdo and Dokdo are also expected to experience heavy snowfall of 5 to 20 cm until this day.
Snow flurries will begin in the afternoon in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, Chungbuk, and northeastern inland areas of Jeonbuk. The snow that falls will freeze, making sidewalks and roads slippery and difficult to travel, so special attention to safety is required.
Dry weather warnings have been issued for parts of the Seoul metropolitan area, the east coast, mountainous areas of Gangwon, and parts of Gyeongsang. Caution is advised to prevent wildfires and other fires. Fine dust levels are forecasted to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions.

Strong winds of 10 to 20 meters per second and high waves are expected at sea, so ships navigating or fishing should exercise caution.
