Fire at Yeosu Industrial Complex GS Caltex... No Casualties Reported
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] At around 4:19 PM on the 9th, a fire broke out at the GS Caltex Yeosu Plant located in the Yeosu National Industrial Complex, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do.
The fire department deployed 23 fire trucks and 130 firefighters to extinguish the fire, successfully controlling the flames within 30 minutes. The fire is believed to have started from a pipeline connected to the aromatic process facility.
