View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, is establishing the province's first non-face-to-face economic platform in line with the 'post-COVID-19' era.
The city announced on the 8th that it has formulated a plan to foster the non-face-to-face economy to quickly respond to the changing economic environment due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The fostering plan consists of 18 detailed projects in 3 sectors, and to strongly promote this plan, the city has newly established the province's first Non-Face-to-Face Economy Team to serve as the overall control tower.
Key projects include building a public delivery app through public-private cooperation that reduces the burden on small business owners with low fees, and supporting small business owners, small and medium manufacturers, and farms who feel the necessity of online business but face difficulties due to methods and costs.
Additionally, the city will strengthen support for non-face-to-face economic promotion by creating new jobs through job fairs, consulting, and mentoring using non-face-to-face platforms, and by promoting 'made in Gimhae' products through public home shopping and local broadcasting stations.

Mayor Heo Seong-gon said, “By organizing the province's first Non-Face-to-Face Economy Team, we aim to take a step ahead in transforming the economic ecosystem in the post-COVID-19 era,” and added, “We will do our best to maximize economic growth and development through an appropriate balance of non-face-to-face and face-to-face methods and achieve results in revitalizing the economy.”
