Dong-A Otsuka Donates Oronamin C to Medical Staff at COVID-19 Screening Clinics
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Dong-A Otsuka, the official beverage sponsor of the KBL (Korean Basketball League), announced on the 8th that it donated the lively carbonated drink Oronamin C to support medical staff at COVID-19 screening clinics, in collaboration with the KBL and its 10 teams.
This donation was made as part of the Ministry of Health and Welfare's #ThanksToYou campaign, aiming to express gratitude and send messages of encouragement to the medical personnel tirelessly working on the frontlines of COVID-19.
Dong-A Otsuka, together with the KBL and its 10 teams, donated approximately 60,000 bottles of Oronamin C to recharge the energy of medical staff at COVID-19 screening clinics.
The donated 60,000 bottles of Oronamin C were delivered to COVID-19 screening clinics in the respective team regions through each team.
To widely promote the purpose of this donation, players from the 10 KBL teams will share messages of encouragement for the medical staff battling COVID-19 and messages of support for the public through KBL's social media channels.
Throughout 2020, Dong-A Otsuka has continuously donated beverages and supplies worth a total of 630 million KRW to medical staff, fire departments, and military units working on the COVID-19 frontlines.
