Namyang Dairy "Unrelated to Hwang Hana Case... Hope for Clarification of Doubts and Facts"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] Namyang Dairy Products recently distanced itself from Hwang Hana, who is currently under police investigation for drug use allegations during her probation period. The company explained that as public criticism against Hwang increases, even Namyang Dairy Products employees and nationwide dealers are suffering damages.
On the 6th, Namyang Dairy Products stated, "Hwang and Namyang Dairy Products are unrelated," and "The Hwang case has no connection with Namyang Dairy Products."
Furthermore, they said, "As Namyang Dairy Products is mentioned in articles related to Hwang, the damage is significant," and requested, "Considering the many innocent people suffering damages, including employees, nationwide dealers, and shareholders, please refrain from using expressions such as 'Namyang Dairy Products founder's granddaughter' and the Namyang Dairy Products logo."
