Gokseong-gun Accepting Applications for Returning Farmers' Agricultural Startup and Housing Purchase Funds Until the 3rd of Next Month
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that it will accept applications for return-to-farming agricultural startup funds and housing funds until March 3.
If selected as a beneficiary, applicants can receive low-interest loans at an annual rate of 2%, with up to 300 million KRW per household for return-to-farming agricultural startup funds and up to 75 million KRW for housing purchase funds.
To apply, applicants must visit the Future Agriculture Team of the Agricultural Policy Division in Gokseong-gun by February 3 and submit the project application form, return-to-farming agricultural startup plan, and other required documents.
The final beneficiaries will be selected through an in-depth evaluation by the selection review committee, choosing those who score 60 points or higher in the review, in order of highest scores.
Eligibility requires applicants to be born on or after January 1, 1955, and to have continuously resided outside rural areas for more than one year based on the date of moving in.
Additionally, applicants must be household heads who have moved to Gokseong-gun within the past five years, currently reside in Gokseong, engage or plan to engage in agriculture, and have completed more than 100 hours of return-to-farming agricultural education.
However, the agricultural startup support project also allows non-agricultural residents living in rural areas with resident registration for more than one year but without farming experience to apply.
