Kia Motors to Unveil New Logo Tomorrow... Transforming to 'Kia'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kia Motors will unveil a new logo and slogan on the 6th. Through this, Kia plans to transform from an internal combustion engine-centered image to a future mobility company.
According to industry sources on the 5th, Kia will release a teaser video of the new logo and slogan on YouTube at 7 PM on the 6th. The new company name will be announced later.
The slogan will change from the existing "The Power to Surprise" to "Movement that Inspires."
Kia changed its name from Kia Industries to its current name in March 1990. The change of Kia's name and slogan is interpreted as a strong intention to fully implement the 'Plan S' strategy, which aims to boldly transition into an electric vehicle and future mobility service company.
