[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Woori Bank's mobile banking service 'Woori WON Banking' and internet banking were inaccessible for about two hours on the 2nd, causing inconvenience to users.
According to Woori Bank, from around 5:40 PM to 7:40 PM that day, an error occurred in Woori WON Banking, preventing access and halting transfer transactions.
When users tried to open the Woori WON Banking application (app), a message stating "Failed to retrieve the information necessary to start the app" appeared, and the app did not open.
From 5:40 PM to 7:35 PM that day, internet banking also experienced errors for nearly two hours, preventing transfer transactions.
As a result, customers had to use ATMs or open banking services from other banks.

A Woori Bank official explained regarding the mobile and internet banking errors, "It appears there was an issue with the network line," adding, "It has now been fully restored."
