Financial Services Commission Launches Overseas Financial Regulations Information System Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] The Financial Services Commission announced on the 3rd that it will launch the 'Overseas Financial Legislation Information System' service within the Financial Regulation Complaint Portal.
Through this, the FSC will present a comparative framework of the legal systems between major foreign countries and Korea, and explain the characteristics of each country's supervisory system and financial regulations.
The FSC established this service to understand advanced overseas legislation and legislative trends, and to utilize them as basic data for financial regulatory innovation.
The FSC first built the system focusing on the United States, European Union (EU), United Kingdom, and Australia, where the service is highly useful for financial regulatory innovation work, and plans to continuously expand the countries covered by the service in response to demand for overseas financial legislation.
Including this, the FSC strengthened the financial legislation information portal functions by additionally providing English links to domestic financial laws, improving the search functions for legal interpretations and non-action opinions, and expanding information provision functions related to FSC's regulatory innovation activities.
