202 New COVID-19 Cases in Seoul by 6 PM Today... 328 Cases Including Dongbu Detention Center

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that from midnight to 6 p.m. on the 31st, there were 202 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Seoul over an 18-hour period.
Compared to the same time frame on the previous day, the 30th, this is 7 fewer cases than the 209 reported. However, the Seoul city tally as of 6 p.m. on this day did not include an additional 126 confirmed cases from Dongbu Detention Center. Including these additional cases from the detention center, the total number of new confirmed cases in Seoul rises to 328.

Among other cluster infection cases, there were 6 additional confirmed cases related to nursing hospitals and nursing homes in Guro-gu, 5 related to a church in Jungnang-gu, and 3 related to an elderly welfare facility in Dongdaemun-gu. Additionally, there was 1 new confirmed case each from a postpartum care center in Guro-gu, a church in Geumcheon-gu, and a nursing facility II in Yangcheon-gu.
