[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] The Korea Specialty Contractors Association and the Korea Construction Policy Institute announced on the 31st that they have published the '2020 Specialty Construction Industry Status Survey Analysis Report.'
The Specialty Construction Industry Status Survey Analysis Report is regarded as the only domestic resource that investigates the overall status of the specialty construction industry and the management conditions of companies. The status and issues identified for each survey item through investigation and analysis are used as empirical basic data necessary for government policy improvement.
The report is based on survey results from specialty construction companies responding to questionnaires designed around necessary improvements for the specialty construction industry, and includes ▲ the actual conditions of specialty construction industry activities ▲ management difficulties of companies ▲ competition status in the specialty construction market ▲ unfair subcontracting trade practices ▲ construction workforce and employment insurance status ▲ industrial accidents and safety management, and major bidding contract system operation status.
The Specialty Contractors Association publishes the report annually and uses it as a basis to suggest policy directions for the advancement and normalization of the construction market. The Construction Policy Institute has participated as a research institution since 2007.
