The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency conducted a comprehensive evaluation of public health centers nationwide to strengthen infectious disease prevention, and Hapcheon-gun achieved excellent results in all indicators including infectious disease outbreak management, national vaccination, and tuberculosis management, earning this honor.
The county is thoroughly responding to prevent secondary infections in the region by expanding the scope of contacts for COVID-19 testing twice a month in vulnerable facilities such as nursing hospitals and nursing homes, conducting proactive mass testing.
