President Moon urged, "There are many safety accidents in the construction and transportation sectors, so please place special emphasis on drastically reducing them."
Regarding real estate policy, President Moon also said, "From supply for home ownership to rental housing for low-income, youth, and newlyweds, as well as quality rental housing for the middle class, please establish clear supply measures and explain the policies well, and do your best to stabilize prices."
Minister Byeon said, "I apologize for causing concern due to my shortcomings," and added, "I will firmly address safety issues and repay the people."
Regarding real estate policy, Minister Byeon pledged, "I will start by gaining public trust in the policy and change the anxiety that sufficient housing will not be supplied and that affordable housing will not be available into trust that sufficient housing will be supplied at affordable prices."
President Moon asked Minister of Gender Equality and Family Jeong Young-ae, "Since women are suffering greatly from job issues to COVID-19 blues during the COVID-19 situation, I hope the new minister will take special interest in this area."
Additionally, President Moon said, "Minister Jeong worked hard during her time as Senior Secretary for Personnel Affairs, but please recommend excellent talents to Kim Oe-sook, the junior Senior Secretary for Personnel Affairs, so that the glass ceiling can be broken and more women can be appointed to high-level public positions."
President Moon asked Minister of the Interior and Safety Jeon Hae-cheol, "Please enable local governments and each ministry to have more autonomy."
