Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters Awards 36.5 Million KRW in Scholarships to 73 Uljin County Sports Talents
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Park Beom-su) delivered scholarship certificates and scholarships to sports-specialized students in Uljin County on the 28th.
Hanul Nuclear Power Plant provided scholarship certificates and scholarships of 500,000 KRW per person to 73 sports-specialized middle and high school students in soccer, shooting, and yachting fields within Uljin through their respective schools.
The Hanul Headquarters is conducting the 4th annual "Uljin County Arts and Physical Education Specialized Student Scholarship Support Project" this year to discover sports talents with excellent potential. Through this project, since 2017, Hanul Headquarters has supported about 282 arts and physical education specialized students in Uljin County with approximately 120 million KRW.
Head Park Beom-su promised, "I understand that this year, due to COVID-19, various competitions were canceled, making it a difficult year for arts and physical education specialized students. We will continue to pay more attention to nurturing talents so that local students can grow their dreams without yielding to difficult circumstances."
