[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank unveiled a local advertisement in Indonesia on the 28th featuring the global star BTS as its advertising model.
This advertisement video embodies KB Kookmin Bank's bold ambition to become the "Star of Indonesian Finance," shining light on every place where financial services are needed as a reliable partner in Indonesia.
The advertisement uses BTS's "Dynamite," which ranked at the top of the Billboard singles chart for eight consecutive weeks, as background music to express the dynamic rise of Indonesia. The story depicts BTS, the advertising model of KB Kookmin Bank, appearing in Indonesia and becoming the "Star of Indonesia," illuminating urban areas that are the cradle of economic development.
Meanwhile, in August this year, KB Kookmin Bank became the largest shareholder by acquiring a 67% stake in Indonesia's Bukopin Bank with the support of local financial authorities. KB Financial Group plans to grow into a "comprehensive financial group in Indonesia" together with Bukopin Bank by leveraging systematic risk management know-how and advanced digital capabilities from its already established subsidiaries such as KB Insurance, KB Kookmin Card, and KB Capital.
