Launch of 'Artnuri' Website Providing Information on Art Support Projects
Providing Art Support Project Information Search, Customized Support Project Recommendations by Region and Field
"Enhancing Accessibility by Building a Mobile App and Providing Participant Status by Region and Project"
On the 28th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Council Korea announced the launch of 'Artnuri,' a website that comprehensively provides information on art support projects. It gathers and guides relevant information so that artists and art organizations can participate in art support projects offered by public cultural and artistic institutions under the Ministry and regional cultural foundations.
Until now, information on art support projects was provided separately by each operating institution. Artists and art organizations often missed support opportunities because they could not obtain information when needed. In a survey conducted in June targeting 2,853 artists registered in the National Culture and Arts Support System, 51.3% responded that they had difficulty because they did not know when the art support projects were announced. Additionally, 62.1% said it was hard to find information because different institutions announced each support project.
