[Breaking] 75 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Gwangju and Jeonnam During Christmas Holiday
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] During the Christmas holiday, 75 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeonnam.
According to Gwangju City on the 28th, 7 additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed as of midnight the previous day.
They were classified as cases number 1043 to 1049.
The number of confirmed cases related to the Evergreen Silver House (nursing home) and Cheongsagyo Church, where cluster infections occurred, increased by 4 and 1 respectively, and 2 cases are still under investigation for their infection routes.
During the Christmas holiday in Gwangju, 28 cases were confirmed on the 25th, 17 on the 26th, and 12 on the 27th, totaling 57 cases.

In Jeonnam, 18 additional cases were confirmed during the holiday period: 6 on the 25th, 5 on the 26th, and 7 on the 27th.
