According to Gwangju City on the 28th, as of midnight the previous day, 7 more people were confirmed positive, classified as Gwangju cases 1043 to 1049.
Thus, a total of 12 cases were confirmed on the 27th alone, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 1049.
Cases 1043 to 1045 and 1048 are related to the Evergreen Nursing Home. Including cases 1041 and 1042, which were confirmed earlier the same day, 6 cases related to this nursing home were identified in one day, increasing the cumulative confirmed cases to 56.
Cases 1046 and 1047 were investigated as contacts related to Gwangju case 964 and Cheongsa Church, respectively.
