"UK to Distribute AstraZeneca Vaccine Starting April 4"
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The UK government will distribute the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford starting from the 4th of next month.
The British daily newspaper The Telegraph reported on the 26th (local time) that the UK government has planned to administer the first dose of either the AstraZeneca vaccine or the Pfizer vaccine to 2 million people within two weeks as part of a large-scale vaccine distribution program.
The Telegraph reported that if the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency approves the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine within a few days, large-scale vaccination centers will be set up in sports stadiums or conference halls by the second week of next month.
